BCA Toy Drive
Southeast Texas Attorney Brent Coon gave close to 1,200 students at both Vidor, and Oak Forest Elementary a Christmas present to take home. The two schools have been forced to share a location after Tropical Storm Harvey hit the area.
"We want to be sure that at least every single kid gets at least one toy even if it's here hopefully they get one more under the tree, but we understand what's going on out there," Brent Coon said.
Coon attended both schools between 1966 and 1967. He saw his old neighborhood under six feet of water. His mission is to make sure the kids of Southeast Texas have some sort of normal Christmas.
